Check out this week’s Burger of the Week, with grilled organic Hen o’ the Woods (aka maitake) mushrooms, queso fresco, shaved celery root and asparagus, mizuna and tarragon. Like every Burger of the Week, you can get it anytime for $10, or try our Weekday Lunch Combo to get a Burger of the Week with fries for just $10. BOTW features fresh local produce against the backdrop of our delicious Five Dot Ranch burger – we don’t know of anyone else who’s doing this, and we’re excited about it and where we can take it. Announcing Monday Lunch & Dinner Service starting May 6

We’re excited to announce Victory Burger lunch and dinner service, starting on May 6. Our new schedule will be 6 days a week, closed Tuesday, from 11:30-9:00 (11:30-8:00 on Sundays). We’re so happy that we won’t have to turn away all the folks who come looking for burgers on Monday anymore.

Also, we’ll be extending our dinner service at Actual Cafe to match – the full Victory Burger menu, along with draft beer and wine, salads and some other treats will be available for dinner every night except Tuesday. You can order at the cafe, and we’ll bring you food and drinks from either menu.

To celebrate, Actual Cafe will be offering a special for the entire month of May – get a Victory Burger (or veggie burger) and a pint of any of our draft beers for just $10. Every night but Tuesday, 5:00pm-close.

New Burger of the Week – local Spring Onions Three Ways

We started a Burger of the Week program a few weeks ago, with a rotating burger made from something we think is exciting each week – they’re $10 all the time, or if you come in for weekday lunch, you can enjoy a Burger of the Week AND a side of fries for just $10. What a deal.

We’re featuring local spring produce for our burger of the week this week, with a burger made from local Spring Onions prepared three ways: grilled bulbs, pickled onion tops, and an aioli made from charred onion (Chef Chris made a helpful diagram, below). We add some swiss cheese for depth, and end up with a delicious spring burger.

We’ve been busy here at Victory, and haven’t had much time to post updates on the site, so here’s a quick list of newish stuff that you might like:

- We launched online ordering this week – you can now use a web browser on your smartphone or at home to place your order ahead of time and save time when you’re picking up. Get it at http://bit.ly/victorymenu (or just use the link from our site)

- You can now order from our menu at Actual Cafe after 5pm weekdays (just wed-fri for now) and after 3pm weekends. We’re also running a special at Actual Cafe that we call Happy Hour-and-a-half, where you can get a Victory Burger (or veggie burger) and a pint of draft beer for just $10

- We’re running a weekly rotating Burger of the Week special – a special combo burger that’s $10 all the time – this week’s burger is roasted organic cremini and baby shiitake mushroom with swiss cheese and fresh pea tendrils – there’s a new one every week; watch our facebook page for the weekly burger.

- We’re also running a lunchtime combo on weekdays – get a Burger of the Week with fries for just $10

We’re working on lots of other projects, including Monday lunch and dinner service, which we hope to launch in just a few weeks. Watch our facebook page for updated Burgers of the Week, other specials, and service enhancements – we make updates much more frequently there than here.
